The Heiserman Audio Type-21, is a large-diaphragm condenser microphone that captures the heart and soul of the legendary ELA M 251E in a compact, ultra-versatile package. Type-21 delivers the depth, detail, and character engineers expect from Heiserman Audio in a rugged, phantom-powered format.

At the core of the Type-21 is the same Generation 5 HK12 capsule found in the acclaimed Heiserman H251, hand-crafted by master technicians in the USA.

Packed into an all-aluminum body, the Type-21 employs a unique transformerless circuit built around a low-noise JFET, precision resistors, and carefully selected tantalum and film capacitors to deliver a rich, dimensional sound with exceptional clarity.
