With a specially designed recessed headbasket and controlled proximity effect, the V1 allows for closer mic placement than would otherwise be possible.

The custom Soyuz transformer is wound tight for a balance of detail and character. The body has been balanced to make it comfortable when used handheld and for easier positioning when attached to a mic clip. Handcrafted in Tula, Russia, this microphone offers the same quality and reliability expected of all Soyuz products. The V1 Dynamic includes a custom mic clip and a canvas bag.
